1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Seller Policy") governs the collection, usage, processing, and protection of Personal Data pertaining to registered businesses or individuals (hereinafter "Sellers") utilizing the BORU Shop Platform ("Platform"), operated by Bhujbal Daily Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Company," "We," "Us").
This Seller Policy is formulated to ensure full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and mandatory financial and tax regulations.
By registering for and utilizing the Platform, the Seller hereby consents to the processing of their Personal Data in accordance with this Policy.

We collect data strictly required for Seller onboarding, transaction management, and regulatory compliance:

3.2 Identity & Compliance Data (Mandatory)
Permanent Account Number (PAN), Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN), Bank Account Details, official Know Your Customer (KYC) documents.
3.3 Transaction Data
Records of orders processed, sales figures, revenue details, and ledger entries generated on the Platform.
3.4 Usage Data
Device technical details, application activity logs, and performance metrics.
Note: The collection of PAN, GSTIN, and Bank Account Details is a mandatory statutory requirement for the Company to comply with its obligations regarding Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), GST reporting, and other financial regulations.
4. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Seller Data is processed for the following specified purposes:
Onboarding & Verification: For Seller registration, identity verification, and compliance checks.
Statutory Compliance: To facilitate accurate TDS deduction, GST reporting, and adherence to all regulatory and legal obligations.
Business Management: To enable order acceptance, transaction execution, and performance analytics for the Seller.
Platform Enhancement: For analytical purposes to improve service efficiency and functionality.
5. CONSENT & DATA PRINCIPAL RIGHTS (DPDP ACT)
Seller rights include:
Right of Access & Correction: To access and rectify their provided data.
Right to Erasure: To request data deletion, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
Note: Due to statutory requirements pertaining to tax and accounting, transaction records (e.g., sales, TDS records) may be exempt from the right to immediate deletion (erasure) as they constitute mandatory audit trails.
6. USE OF INFORMATION
We utilize the Seller's Personal Data to:
Process and manage all transactions and orders executed through the Platform.
Ensure timely compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
Maintain comprehensive audit and financial records as mandated by law.
7. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Data is shared only as strictly necessary:
7.1 Government & Authorities (Mandatory): Data will be mandatorily disclosed to the Income-tax Department, GST Authorities, and Statutory Auditors for compliance and reporting.
7.2 Third-Party Services: Shared with essential service providers (e.g., secure cloud hosting, technical analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
7.3 With Customers: Limited business contact information may be shared with Customers solely for the purpose of order fulfillment and communication.
8. COMPLIANCE & LEGAL OBLIGATIONS
The collection of sensitive financial and identity data (PAN, GSTIN, Bank Details) is executed under a clear legal basis to meet our obligations related to:
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) deduction and remittance.
Regulatory tax reporting (GST filings).
Mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
9. DATA SECURITY
We employ robust security measures, including encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure, designed to safeguard Seller Data against unauthorized access or breaches.
10. DATA RETENTION
Seller Data, particularly transaction and compliance records, shall be retained for the period strictly required under:
Indian Tax laws (e.g., Income Tax Act, GST Act).
Accounting standards and regulations.
11. COOKIES AND TRACKING
The Platform employs cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
Platform personalization and preference management.
Traffic and service analytics to understand user behavior and optimize the Platform.
The Seller may manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, acknowledging that disabling essential cookies may impact the functionality and features available on the Platform.
12. PLATFORM ROLE & LIMITATIONS
The Company acts solely as a technological facilitator. We do not assume responsibility for:
The direct control, quality, or legality of goods/services offered by the Seller.
The tracking or handling of payments that occur outside the technical environment of the Platform.
13. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
The Seller agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and the Platform from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and legal expenses arising from (a) the provision of false, incorrect, or unauthorized identity or financial information by the Seller, or (b) any tax, regulatory, or legal non-compliance attributable to the Seller's operation.
14. CONFIDENTIALITY
Seller Data is treated with strict confidentiality. It is not sold, leased, or rented to any external party and is shared only for the explicit purposes of service delivery or legal/compliance requirements.
15. AMENDMENTS
This Seller Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform after any revision constitutes binding acceptance by the Seller.
