1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Customer Policy") governs the collection, usage, processing, storage, and protection of Personal Data concerning individuals (hereinafter "Customers" or "Users") who access and utilize the BORU Customer Platform ("Platform"), operated by Bhujbal Daily Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Company," "We," "Us").
This Customer Policy is formulated in strict compliance with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable laws and regulations in India.
By utilizing the Platform, the Customer hereby provides their express, free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the collection and processing of their Personal Data by the Company in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
2. DEFINITIONS

User/Customer-Any individual utilizing the Platform solely for ordering or accessing goods/services provided by independent Sellers.
Personal Data-Any data, information, or characteristic, including but not limited to name, mobile number, email, and location, that enables the direct or indirect identification of an individual.
Services-The facility provided by the Company to the Customer for browsing, placing orders, and connecting with independent Sellers via the BORU Platform.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED
We collect data necessary for the provision and operation of the Services. The collected data includes:

3.1 Personal & Contact Data
Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Delivery Address(es).
3.2 Usage & Technical Data
Device information (model, OS), IP address, Application Usage patterns, Search History, Order and Transaction Records.
3.3 Location Data
Real-time geographical location derived from the device, facilitated by third-party services (e.g., Google Maps), essential for enabling localized services and order delivery.
4. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Personal Data is processed for the following legitimate and specified purposes:
Account Creation and Management: To verify the Customer's identity, create, and manage their user account on the Platform.
Service Fulfillment: To enable the placement, processing, and delivery of orders and to facilitate the provision of Services by independent Sellers.
Customer Support: To provide effective customer service, manage queries, and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
Platform Functionality: To display relevant nearby stores, optimize user experience, and ensure the efficient and stable operation of the Platform.
Security & Integrity: For the prevention of fraud, detection of misuse or unauthorized activities, and enhancement of overall Platform security and integrity.
Improvement: For internal research, analytics, and service development to continually improve the Platform's features and service offerings.
5. CONSENT & DATA PRINCIPAL RIGHTS (DPDP ACT)
In compliance with the DPDP Act, the Customer, as the Data Principal, possesses the following statutory rights:
Right of Access: To obtain a summary of the Personal Data being processed by the Company and the processing activities.
Right to Correction & Update: To seek correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): To request the deletion of Personal Data, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
Right to Withdraw Consent: To withdraw consent previously granted for the processing of Personal Data at any time.
Note: Withdrawal of consent may substantially limit or permanently cease the Customer’s access to the Platform and Services where such data processing is foundational and essential for the provision of the service.
6. USE OF INFORMATION
We utilize the collected Personal Data exclusively to:
Facilitate and execute transactions and communications between the Customer and Sellers, enabling order fulfillment.
Send critical service-related communications (e.g., order status updates, security alerts).
Personalize the application interface and improve the overall user experience on the Platform.
7. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Personal Data is shared only on a strictly 'need-to-know' basis or as mandated by law:
7.1 With Sellers: Necessary Personal Data (Name, Delivery Address, Mobile Number) is shared with the specific independent Seller(s) involved in fulfilling the Customer's order. This sharing is essential for service fulfillment.
7.2 Legal and Regulatory Authorities: Data may be mandatorily disclosed to competent Government agencies, including but not limited to law enforcement, income-tax authorities, and statutory Auditors, as required for compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory obligations.
7.3 Third Parties: Data may be shared with essential third-party service providers, such as cloud hosting providers, analytical tools, and technical support services, strictly for the purpose of operating the Platform. All such third parties are subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
7.4 Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity, subject to the successor entity adhering to this Privacy Policy or a policy offering comparable protection.
8. PAYMENT DISCLAIMER
The Company hereby confirms that the Platform operates purely as an intermediary facilitator. It is explicitly stated that the Platform neither collects nor processes any Customer payment instrument details (e.g., credit card numbers, net banking credentials, UPI IDs). All payments related to the transaction are executed directly between the Customer and the Seller, or through independent, regulated third-party payment gateways, and are conducted entirely outside the purview and processing environment of the Platform.
9. DATA SECURITY
We maintain reasonable, industry-standard, and commercially viable security safeguards and technical measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including, but not limited to:
Data Encryption protocols for data both in transit and at rest.
Secure Data Storage mechanisms.
Strict Access Control policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to Personal Data.
10. DATA RETENTION
Personal Data shall be retained for the period necessary to:
Satisfy the legitimate purpose for which the data was collected, including ongoing service requirements and account maintenance.
Comply with applicable legal, accounting, or reporting requirements imposed by relevant statutes and regulations.
11. COOKIES AND TRACKING
The Platform employs cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
Platform personalization and preference management.
Traffic and service analytics to understand user behavior and optimize the Platform.
The Customer may manage cookie preferences through their browser settings, acknowledging that disabling essential cookies may impact the functionality and features available on the Platform.
12. PLATFORM ROLE LIMITATIONS
BORU acts strictly as an intermediary facilitator connecting Customers with independent Sellers. The Company is not responsible for the independent conduct, acts, omissions, quality of goods/services, or contractual obligations of the Sellers, nor for any interaction or transaction that takes place entirely outside the Platform's defined scope.
13. AMENDMENTS
This Customer Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legal or operational requirements. The updated Policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. The Customer's continued use of the Platform subsequent to such amendments shall constitute explicit and conclusive acceptance of the revised Policy.
